Catherine has been with Advocacy Strategies since September 2025, beginning as a Government Relations Fellow and transitioning into the role of Manager of Public Affairs. Previously, she worked on several political campaigns at the county and state level, engaging with Iowans across the political spectrum. She was introduced to state government work as a Legislative Clerk in the Iowa House of Representatives and found a passion for policy. The most rewarding part of her job has been walking clients through the legislative process and making the complicated simple and stress-free. Catherine is passionate about equipping clients with the tools they need to succeed, combining classic lobbying tactics with emerging methods.

Catherine recently graduated with academic honors from Drake University, with majors in Strategic Political Communications and Law, Politics, and Society and minors in Human Rights Studies and Spanish. During her time at Drake, she served as the Civic Engagement Senator and led several campus-wide events to foster election participation and education among the student body.

Outside of work, Catherine is a dance teacher and involved in local politics. During her free time, she enjoys reading, visiting local restaurants, and participating in community events.
